Tex Elliot's vintage sounding 1970's era Blues Rock sounds like he's squeezed out of the lemons and gave you a tequila shot. This is no frills raw, amps humming, strings shaken, speakers tearing music with powerful emotional and soul drenched bluesy vocals. At Ten tracks, it's a blistering set that sounds like it came straight out of a mixing board of a smoke filled Club, but without the drunks and the crowd noise. The best part is there's no SRV aping riffs or tone, but Tex's tele snarls and tears at the strings, sending unexpected fuzz leaden feral notes that tears at the blues cannon with a throat shaking vibrato. The song writing is strong and all the tracks are original and not covers. Little Queen, and Heaven or Hell would've probably had a good chance of commercial FM Radio play back in the 70's. The back story 

For all you folks who don't know me, (and that's a whole lot of people), let's pretend we're having a cup of coffee or a beer and I'll fill you in. 

I'm a 100% disabled veteran (now) who used to be a Bluesman. I can't play anymore or sing because of my illness's (Parkinson's, MS, Addison's disease etc.) So, I'm fucked. 

This left me isolated for many years socially and most of my friends have passed away. So, I had this stupid idea that maybe people out there would like to hear some of the music I used to make when I was young & healthy.

That is what this website and all the other online shit is about. 

Now, I haven't a clue what I'm doing and trying to learn this online bullshit, so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong. I'm old school and being a guy doesn't help me to communicate easily, especially to strangers. 

Hopefully, with some time and learning I will get the hang of this and we can become “friends” or at the least acquaintances.

The first single from the album Bar Room Blues - appropriately, this track called-  From this day on - sounds like it was recorded in any Blues Bar you've gone into (less the drunks and crowd noise) but you get my drift. I think this is a good place for people to start for a proper introduction into the kind of music I make.
